Newborn session tips for a 21 day old baby- Winnipeg baby photographer

This adorable baby girl came with her brother and parents for a in studio newborn photo session. I had earlier done the newborn session for the older brother so it was wonderful to see the family again with their newest adorable addition.

I always as during the initial phone conversation with parents if they want the session to be for the baby girl or boy. This time it was for this doll who just turned 21 days after birth.

She was wide awake and taking short naps in between but very calm and did not mind at all during the swaddle wrapping or changing her outfit.

I had set aside some head bonnets and head bands to match with the swaddle wraps. Poses were done on a bean bag against a creamy white background. I find creamy white color looks very nice with any color outfit and goes very well with a variety of skin tones of baby.

For newborn baby girl my go to accessories are floral head bands, pick and cream shades, mint green works great too.

Poses can be obtained while baby is asleep as well as when awake. This baby in particular was very calm and easy to photograph. She was also very comfortable on the bean bag and needed least attention from mom and dad.

Overall the session went smooth with minimal cries. Photos came out beautiful.
