Trying out my new back drop for a newborn family session

I recently bought this boho style backdrop and wanted to try it for a newborn family session. This backdrop has some floral arrangements that are light pastel colours. I used a light colour rubber floor mat that would blend in nicely with this back drop.

Two studio lights with a reflector was perfect for this session. I used my 35mm prime go to lens as I find it works beautifully for indoor small spaces and shows almost negligible distortions.

Poses were based on comfort level of the new mom as she was still recovering. I tried a few sitting and standing poses to go with the backdrop.

Mom was wearing a white color sweats and dad had a darker checked shirt. This was able to add the perfect contrast and radiance for this session with newborn. I was able to capture some beautiful moments.
