Cute maternity pose ideas -Mommy and me in studio

Milestone session is just not for the kids but for adults as well. I had the opportunity to have "about to me mom" and her first child together for a maternity session in studio. Mom had put some serious thoughts on her dresses for the session and poses to cherish forever. So this session was indeed special one.

Because of the weather this session was planned in studio as the weather was not warm enough to have an outdoor session with a toddler.

The child was a two year old so I knew that to get his attention for the entire session will be impossible. Mom was instructed prior to the session to bring some snacks, juice and a few of his favourite toys from home.

On arrival he was in a good mood and as a big brother and a few encouraging interactions he was ready to go. This session was indeed amazing as this big brother to be was so fun and very good in following instructions. The best part was to see his brilliant smile on his face while accompanying mom with the poses.

Some of the poses we decided to do was his hands on mom's belly, a hug to the belly, sitting poses included mom sitting relaxed on the floor and the child complimenting the frame sitting on her thigh. This pose was comfortable for both yet added a uniqueness to the picture.

Mom enjoyed every minute of the session and had a wonderful in-tune with the kid to pose well. In fact I would say he was natural and expressions on his face and the twinkle in his eyes were amazing.

Session was a great success and pictures came out very cute.
