Newborn session outfits, poses and props ideas-Winnipeg baby photographer

This was a beautiful session to do. Baby was calm and the parents were absolute adorable. Baby was 21 day old however was asleep most of the time.

I had arranged the props to be used particularly when the baby was awake and asleep.

On arrival, depending on the sleepy or awake baby,  I like to pose the baby on a bean bag. This baby was wide awake. He did not mind changing his outfit and was very calm throughout. The soft bean bag helps the baby to relax and you can place baby very easily on his back or side if awake. He looked very cute with this outfit pants with straps and a matching cap.

The second prop was posed in a swaddle wrap. The baby fell asleep immediately. I used this cute white wooden bowl placed over multiple layers of colourful blankets.

At the end I used this heart shaped wooden prop. Taking advantage of the baby in his sleeping state I positioned him within the prop with another set of outfits. This pose was in light color shirt and casual pants accessorized with a matching cap. I added some leaves and red berries as an accent to the prop and to add some sweetness to the final image.

Pictures came out really beautiful and I enjoyed doing the session a lot.
